
Meet Simon Benson
Founder and Lead Tutor
Simon Benson is the founder and lead tutor behind LawLitBiz Tutoring. With a career spanning over 25 years in the legal profession and nearly a decade in education, Simon brings a unique cross-disciplinary approach to tutoring and professional development.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and a Master of Laws from UNSW, and has taught at institutions including Torrens University, ICMS, AIBIHE, and several Sydney secondary schools. His areas of expertise include HSC Legal Studies, Business Studies, and English Literature, with a particular passion for Renaissance and Jacobean drama.
Simon is committed to making complex ideas accessible, engaging, and relevant — whether he’s helping a Year 12 student refine their essay structure, or coaching a teacher on how to deliver legal content confidently in the classroom.

Why He Teaches
